Plants vs. Zombies Collection, Pt I

I saw a whole lot of PvZ plushies online a few years ago and thought 'Pffft, I can sew those'. Well, sewing teeny tiny little scraps of felt and velvet is not that easy. I have some self-drafted patterns for the Peashooter, Cherrybomb and one or two others, but I can't summon up the energy to handstitch them into recognisable shapes.

I did manage one, however. Guess which one? Jip, that's right, the easy-peasy oblong shape that is the Walnut. A circle for the base and a tube for the body, tapered to a blunt end - that's all he is. With two white ovals for eyes and a bit of paint and stuffing. He's not plush and soft like the rest of them (once they're made, that is), but let's be real here - walnuts are not known for their fluffy softness. He's very cute, sitting on my shelf and waiting for his PvZ buddies. I'm thinking of adding some beans or small stones to the base to help him stay upright.

The rest of the lovable battle-ready plants WILL be on the way sometime, I promise. Ok, not all of them, but enough to be able to call it a collection. A garden. Maybe one day I'll even get to making the zombies, or Crazy Dave.
