Berry Pie Reversible Apron

A long time ago in a financial pickle not so far away, I needed a heartfelt but cheap present for my dearest PooBear (that's the little sister). I'm actually surprised I never did this gift for her before, since she's been baking and messing around in the kitchen since she was tall enough to reach the counter. To save me the effort of finishing off edges (this was pre-overlocker) I made the apron double-sided. Double the cuteness!!

It turned out to be way too narrow, and a bit lopsided, but the Bear loved it, so I consider it a success. The pink patterned side was a canvas-y type fabric, and the dotty side was a horrible polyester cotton, but I couldn't resist the pretty prints on both. I even managed to get the pink design fairly symmetrical. I should learn to use patterns though, or even just measurements, and stop just taking scissors to fabrics and hoping for the best.

She's grown up quite a bit since then, so I think a new apron is in order this Christmas...
